The final box is just used to open your saved games. I don't know if this changes the AI's inteligence but it makes enemy troops take more hits before dying as well as make them hit harder. The third box will change the difficulty between Easy, Medium and Hard. The second box will enable or disable tooltips. Then you have Total victory, as suggested by the name you have to control the entire map to win.
The first box will allow you to change the victory conditions, Score victory is like Civiliation 5 time victory. When you click campign you will move to campign settings. There are 8 options, we shall look at them from top to bottom.
